YOU GUYS SHOULD REALLY GO TO THIS! I have a debate tournament on this particular Saturday, but I really really really really want someone(s) responsible from our school to go and get good information and bring it back to our club to make it bigger/better! Copying and pasting below:

Dear Amnesty Student Activists,

Please join us for a AIUSA Student Training on March 1, 2014, 10:00am-3:00pm, at the Amnesty Office in 5 Penn Plaza, 16th Floor. This training will be hosted by your Field Organizer, Julie Southwell, and Student Activist Coordinators myself (Ivy Zhang) and Noor Javid.

There is no limit to the number of attendees per school, so please encourage members from your student group to attend! This will be a valuable training session with a focus on building stronger student groups, action planning, and developing strategies and tactics. This will also be a great chance to connect with other student groups!

Do any of you think you can go?? I went with Nushrat to the last thing they had that was similar to this and it was SOOOOO HELPFUL. They share a lot of things that would be particularly good for board members to know, which is why I'm telling you guys about it!
