I went by to get some pictures for you and found out that my memory
was not as good as I thought it was. It was not Joshua F. that was
burried at Upper Willscot. It was Rev. Jacob Allen Ammons and his
wife Pernatha that were burried there. My mother called someone and
they told her that Gail Atcheson who lives in Cherokee County the same
county I live in could probably answer the question, that she had done
research on the Ammons family. I talked to Gail last night and it
turned out that she was the great-granddaughter of Joshua F. Ammons.
He and his wife Margaret Ammons are both burried at Harmony Baptist
Church Cemetery at Blue Ridge, GA. I will probably be in Blue Ridge
again next month. I will get a photo of the grave markers at that
time and post them for you. Sorry about the error, hope I didn't mess
up your records. Until about a year ago a web site called
cemeteysurveysinc had photos of nearly all the cemeteries in Fannin
County as well as many others in the North Georgia, Western North
Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. They also had a lot of other records
posted that had been provided to them in the way of marriage licenses
and death certificates. For some reason most of the information has
been removed. I was getting lazy using it because it saved a lot work
and time. Also something else you may have already discovered. John
R Ammons' two families were closer related than half brothers and
sisters. the two Martha's, Martha Higdon and Marth Buchanan were
first cousins. Martha Buchanan's father James and Martha Higdon's
mother Eva were both children of James Buchanan and Martha Black.
