Hello
I just found the ammonite. Sounds very promising.
1) How can I do these simple things efficiently in ammonite
ls -al foo*
chmod 700 foobar
diff -r ./foo ./bar
2) What is the file copy performance, ammonite vs bash?
3) What is the file diff performance, ammonite vs bash?
If I spawn a new process from amm, how can I control the amount of memory it can use?
I might use it in a backup system which uses heavily copy and diff. Backup size varies from 50GB to 200GB so speed is important.
Thank you for your support.
