Fw: S.T.A.B.L.E. Instructor course and Simulation Workshop

Allied Health Centre of Excellence( AHCoE) and Perinatal Society of Malaysia are co- organising the S.T.A.B.L.E. Instructor course and Simulation Workshop from 16th to 18th May,  2014. The venue is at Wawasan Open University, Penang. The faculty/trainer is the founder/author of the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program, Dr Kris Karlsen from USA. The registration fee is relatively cheap ( RM 800 for the 3-day course, including the Instructor manual that will cost USD 85=RM 280! ) and the lead instructor certificate is internationally recognised.

 

The Instructor course is designed to prepare Lead Instructors for local or regional Learner / Provider Course implementation. Support instructor candidates may attend the Instructor course but they must be affiliated with a Lead instructor to implement and teach the program. The Instructor course is two days in length. The third day offering (Simulation Workshop ) is open to all interested students and is optional for Instructor Course attendees.

 

Who is an ideal S.T.A.B.L.E. Lead Instructor candidate?

Someone with an interest in teaching who is also an expert in neonatal intensive care, such as a ...

Neonatologist, neonatal nurse practitioner, pediatrician experienced in neonatal intensive care, neonatal physician assistant, neonatal transport nurse, NICU clinical nurse educator or specialist, neonatal transport respiratory therapist, respiratory therapist with a well-developed neonatal background, outreach educator with tertiary intensive care nursery background, experienced ICN nurse / nurse preceptor.

 

Instructor candidates must meet the qualifications for Lead or Support Instructor to attend. Please review the qualifications ( Please read the attached brochure ) before registering.
