Sir, 

R. V. College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru, India, is one of India’s premier technical institutes. Established in 1963, RVCE is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year. The college currently has about 5200 students and over 400 faculty and 250 supporting staff. RVCE currently offers 12 Bachelor & 22 Master programs (~annual intake of about 1750 students), and carries out research and consultancy activities in all the 16 departments, with provision for PhD Studies. RVCE has set a vision “Leadership in Quality Technical Education, Research & Innovation, through Teamwork, with a focus on Development of Sustainable and Inclusive Technology”.

The Departments of Industrial Engg & Management, Mechanical Engg, Information Science & Engg and Telecommunication Engg are organizing two days Workshop on Procurement and Inventory Management System in Engineering Institutions during 9th & 10th May 2013. The workshop will be conducted in the premises of R.V. College of Engineering. The Participants for the programme will be the Managers / Accounts Superintendents / Foremen/ System Analysts/ Programmers  and any others involved in purchase and inventory systems from the technical Institutions, who are interested in enhancing their knowledge in the field of procurement and Inventory Management and office administration.

 Objectives of the Workshop:

  •  To enhance the knowledge in managing and monitoring the assets of the institution.
  • To understand procurement and inventory management policies, processes and procedures.
  • To create awareness on IT tools available and the Procurement and Inventory database.

 

We cordially invite you to participate in Two days Workshop on Procurement and Inventory Management System in Engineering Institutions and to contribute in   spreading the importance of procurement and inventory management system in engineering institutions. The workshop will be conducted in Telecommunication Engineering Seminar Hall of our College.
