With the new timeline I am confused whether or not Sub-Zero killed Scorpion's clan. When Quan-Chi shows Scorpion his past in MK9 it shows sub-zero but right before he is killed he claims it was not him. So if it was not him, who was it? Other lin-quei members? Quan-chi himself? Link are appreciated
Wanting to watch clips like this, with two layers of subtitles over them, weird cropping, and shoddy editing, does feel like the TikTokiest way to watch a movie, though. The content that feels most authentic on TikTok is always the stuff that feels a little hacked and rough\u2014people recording stream-of-consciousness monologues while they\u2019re walking, dancing in a room with a ceiling fan, or greenscreening themselves over grainy pictures. This is why produced videos feel so wrong on TikTok: that\u2019s just not the vibe. When you extend that aesthetic to movies and shows, it all kind of makes sense.

It's somewhat akin to the way fans follow a star, or a trend, but it's a little different. Because rather than "following the leader or the trend," it's the leader, teacher, therapist, or doctor who is checking in on you, treating you, in the case of a doctor or health worker. This way of using seguire is used a whole lot in teacher-pupil relationships, or doctor-patient relationships and the like, and has to do with following a pupil or patient's progress, or simply giving them support, or attention, treatment, or checking in to see how things are going. In some instances, we might say, seguire is "to give guidance on a continuing basis."
There are other ways to call someone's attention to something, give them information, or a warning about something. Here are seven. We note that these verbs are almost always followed by the conjunction che (that). Since we are not talking about hypotheses, but rather statements of fact, we don't use the subjunctive in this case, as we often do after che.
There are other nuances of avvertire, but for now we will stick with the one that means "to warn," "to let someone know." You are turning someone's attention to something. Avvertire can be used with a menacing tone, as a warning.
A separate note for the lack of Italian dubbing. I have always been in favor of dubbing. We all should be, because having audio support in our language adds a lot for those who want to enjoy the title in their own language, which are probably the majority. Experiencing a narrative like this in your language enhances the immersion. Even more so when the subtitles have various synchronization problems: in Alan Wake II, some subtitles pass so quickly (or out of sync) that they are impossible to read (a flaw found only in the first half of the game).
