In the last day my 5 month old laptop continues to freeze while using google chrome and the when I try to click out and X out it keeps loading and loading. Microsdt edge then doesn't seem to work afterward either do you know any way I can fix this?

I attempted what was suggested but still nothing. i uninstalled chrome again but them it woundlt download I tried to use microsoft edge but as soon as I got to googleno other page would load I again had the same problem with when I tried to use Firefiox. My wifi is fine as other devices in my home are working but now I cant seem to access the internet on my laptop at all and all services including opening a document folder now frezze with no explation.

I ran the system quick test and it passed. I have looked at recently installed software in the Update history. and the image shows what was recently installed and my update history is up to date and to my knowlege no updates were interuptted . After i ran the test I tried chrome again and it did download this time and has run ok for the last hour i have had it back although I am still worried the same will happen. Do you have any other suggestions?

I think I may have solved this issue. I also have a new 15.6 inch spectre x360. Chrome was freezing, but would come back if I waited about 10 or 15 seconds. Computer was unusable during this freeze. Edge was fine.

I currently use the Macbook Air M2 chip, but my Google Chrome is not responding. Nothing happened when I pressed my cursor to the Google tab or the Google search bar, and there was no response! After I restarted my MacBook again, it functioned properly. The next day, it happened again. It is driving me crazy, please help me???

Hey guys, I'm trying to upload photos to the file page, but the 'Upload File' button is not responding with Google Chrome. Nothing happens when I click on the button. The same thing occurs when I try to upload a photo on the About Us page. I kept trying to upload files last night, and tested again this morning, and still does not work.

Is this an overall Shopify technical issue? Anyone else experiencing this? Looking forward to a response, thanks!

I did try on Safari, and the button works! But would still prefer to work on Google Chrome, since all of my work is saved there.

Still, anyone knows what the issue may be when using Google Chrome?

We did experience a live issue with the Files section of the admin earlier today (around the time of your posting) and this issue has since been resolved. Are you able to please try clearing your cookies and cache on your Chrome browser and try uploading a file again? Thanks for your patience today while our developers worked on a solution.

So you know, I've just tried uploading a file to the Files section of my test store using Chrome, and it was successful. Make sure your browser is also up to date if you're still experiencing issues.

I'm having the same issue. My chrome is up to date but I need to keep restarting it in order for the upload button to work. Is anyone else still having this issue? I prefer to use Chrome, is a fix in the works?

This is happening with me too! used to work just fine, but can't hit the upload button when I go to digital attachments from within a product, or from within settings. Contacted support and couldn't attach anything to the chat. super huge issue that I hope we can get help with!!

When I'm using Google Docs in Chrome, as soon as "All changes saved to drive" appears at the top of the document, the keyboard stops responding. Everything else, the mouse, touchpad, etc, all still work and applications respond as normal to mouseclicks, just the keyboard does not respond in any application or window. The only way to fix it is to restart the computer.

There was a bug in Chrome that would not allow any input from the iBus input manager. This issue is often confused with issues where input is slow or only affects certain websites, as can be seen in this bug report.

With Google Docs, I have noticed the issue typically happens with autosaves. I have a theory that during the autosave process, if input is being entered, a queue is building up that iBus or D-Bus (the system processes use to communicate with one another) struggles to handle.

Certainly, stopping, uninstalling, or replacing iBus with some other input manager will do the trick, but you may be losing functionality in doing so. A better solution is to restart iBus with sudo ibus restart. This will get a new D-Bus bus (which can be confirmed with ibus address) and all will be well. You don't even need stop any running programs, including Chrome.

I use Google Chrome across all of my devices and it's only my S23 that it has stopped working for. I have attached screenshots of what I can see when on a website which I have a saved password but I am unable to click on either of the autofill options! Nothing happens at all.

I have tried all of the suggestions I've seen on similar posts - Google is set as my preferred service, cleared cache, restarted (it worked once after that but stopped again). I tried swapping to samsung pass then back to Google but still nothing.

If yours is doing the same thing mine was, which is not letting you tap on anything in the Google box, passwords, auto fill, etc. I finally got mine working. I cleared my cache and restarted my phone and it still didn't work. You have to do a hard restart. Basically you hold the volume down and power button together. Do not let off of those buttons, don't touch anything else, it takes what seems like at least a minute, the screen will go blank (keep holding), then it will finally restart. Now everything is working again.

I read on another link to fix this: do a reset of your phone. Long hold lower volume button and power button. This should fix issue with all updates to chrome. It's nonsense to have to research bugs in this way. I was totally confused with why this happened. Google/and/or samsung need to beta these updates before releasing them With no clear fix. Good luck with bugs in the future.

I have tried to login asana on app.asana.com on my google chrome browser it was working perfectly fine till yesterday but today suddenly it has stopped working and its just loading and loading only. i have attached the screenshot below. Please check whats the issue and update me.

The error you are seeing on the connectivity test page suggests that you are not currently able to use websockets to connect to Asana. Websockets are a very common form of connection protocol that are necessary in order to use Asana.

When Chrome is not responding on your Mac, it's time to jump into troubleshoot mode. Despite its excellence, Chrome is not perfect and can sometimes be completely unresponsive; luckily, it's solved easily. Here are 5 quick ways to get Chrome's attention.

Any sudden or strange behavior is an indicator that something more sinister could be at play. If Chrome has been slowing down, crashing, and finally not responding, it's always worth checking for malware. Check your anti-virus software is doing its job.

A response to the form as a whole. A FormResponse can be used in three ways: to accessthe answers submitted by a respondent (see getItemResponses()), to programmaticallysubmit a response to the form (see withItemResponse(response) and submit()), and to generate a URL for the form which pre-fills fields using the providedanswers. FormResponses can be created or accessed from a Form.

Generates a URL that can be used to edit a response that has already been submitted. If theForm.setAllowResponseEdits(enabled) setting is disabled, the link leads to a page thatexplains that editing form responses is disabled. Anyone who visits the link can edit theresponse, although they need an account with access to the form if the Form.setRequireLogin(requireLogin) setting is enabled. If the Form.setCollectEmail(collect)setting is enabled, the form records the email address of the user who edited the responseinstead of the email address of the original respondent.

Gets all item responses contained in a form response, in the same order that the items appearin the form. This method works similarly to getItemResponses(), but to allow for gradinga missing answer, it still returns an ItemResponse if the corresponding Itemcan be graded (ie has a point value), even if there isn't an actual response. However, if theItem isn't gradable, this method excludes that item from its returned array.

Gets the item response contained in a form response for a given item. This method workssimilarly to getResponseForItem(item), but to allow for grading a missing answer, it stillreturns an ItemResponse if the corresponding Item can be graded (ie has a pointvalue), even if there isn't an actual response. However, if the Item isn't gradable,this method returns null.

Gets all item responses contained in a form response, in the same order that the items appearin the form. If the form response does not contain a response for a given TextItem,DateItem, TimeItem, or ParagraphTextItem, the ItemResponsereturned for that item will have an empty string as the response. Adds the given item response's grades to a form response. This method applies only to formresponses that have already been submitted, and only affects stored grades once they aresubmitted. This method also only updates the item response's grades; it does not affect theactual response (since the response has already been submitted). If this method is calledmultiple times for the same item, only the last grade is retained. If the ItemResponse containsno grades, this method will remove grades for the item.
