Dear Sec 4's,

Please include 20 CIP hours for your involvement with the Choir during NOMAD last year.

The choir performed on 14 June 2008 at the Ang Mo Kio Central K-Box Plaza (opposite Banquet), as part of the Ang Mo Kio Secondary School's 2nd (of 3) NOMAD Fringe Performance. The event was also jointly organized by the Central Singapore CDC as part of the Community Life Arts Performances (CLAP!) Series. This activity gave the choir exposure to singing in an outdoor setting, in a community context. The A Capella group 'Double A', made up of 10 students from the choir, as well as Jeremy Lee from Sec 2A, also collaborated with the Ang Mo Kio Community Centre's Recreational Choral Singing Group, during which they interacted and worked together with elderly folk who also enjoy singing, allowing them to gain experience working with other singers, while being in touch with the community at the same time. It was all in all a very enriching experience for the everyone.
