REQUIRED PROFILE

• University degree: A university degree in a technical field, complemented by a minimum of 3x years of experience in IoT, Data Analytics, or Cloud Computing. This should include expertise in the IOT architecture and the IOTcommunication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, AMQP, WebSockets).

• Experience with IOT platforms: At least 3x years of hands-on experience with Open-source platforms and tools, device provisioning, onboarding, and lifecycle management

• Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in IoT (Python for scripting and data processing, Java or Node.js for backend development). Experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell for automation.

• Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting Systems: Extensive experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, such as Prometheus and Grafana, specifically tailored for IOT log management.

• Linux administration: Strong experience in Linux Administration is crucial. Additional experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) will be highly appreciated, reflecting the modern practices in deploying and managing scalable applications.

 

ASSETS

• Technical tools: Experience working with IOT platforms, programming tools, data analytics software, and security tools.

• Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).

• Infrastructure Automation: Proficiency in infrastructure automation and provisioning tools, such as PowerShell and Ansible playbooks, to automate the deployment and management of log management solutions.

• Project and process management tools: Experience using project and process management tools (agile methodologysuch as SAFe or SCRUM), Microsoft TFS, particularly in the management of Product Backlog Items (creation, follow-up).

 

 

• Location: Applicants should be within a +/- 2-hour time zone difference from Switzerland for scheduling purposes 

• The consultant will be hierarchically attached to IAM & Observability Product Manager and Product Owner. He will interact with the Business Owner directly
