I am joining the MS in IS program at ISU. Found this group
while browsing. Thought i can chant with the current studends and find
more information about the course and college. Active members please

Hi kevin,

Thanks for the reply. I just have those common questions and
nothing in specific. Is there any other online forum for the IS
students at ISU from where i can know more about the course?

1) how is the palcemnet scenario over there?
2) Are graduate assistanship given to students from the 2nd semester?
is it easy to find some sort of funding from the second year atleast
( under the current coductions)

3) what is the size of the MS IS class ? how diverse is it and how
many indians are there?
4) Are internships compulsary at the end of 2nd semester ? are paid
internships availabe? does the college arrange for the internships or
it is entirely up to the students to find one.

i know there are no simple answers for these questions but any
information is welcome. Searched many online forums regarding the IS
department at ISU but couldnt find any.
