Aviations Operations (MOS 15P) and Air Traffic Controller (MOS 15Q) Instructors. The job description and qualifications are as follows:
DESCRIPTION
Candidate will Review and update classroom training materials such as student handouts, lesson plans, overhead slides, and practical exercises, as required due to new software, hardware or tasks from a Critical Task and Site Selection Board. Candidate shall be required to update training and lesson plans provided by the government for instruction. Necessity for updates shall be determined by the contractor and recommended to the government prior to implementation. The government shall provide formats for lessons/training plans.
b. The candidate will conduct classroom instruction and testing in subjects taught, to include grading of exams, evaluation of results, recording of exam results, and activating and reviewing student critiques (most of which are currently available electronically in Blackboard) and the conduct of after action reviews with the students. Training and Tests are both performance-based and criterion-based. These tests are developed and available for the current curriculum. If the contract instructor is involved with a curriculum development effort, part of that shall be to develop new tests associated with the new curriculum.
c. The candidate will participate in Program reviews, Training material evaluations and validations.
d. The candidate will make recommendations concerning Training Support Packages and training development material.
Qualifications Required:
· Aviation Operations and Air Traffic Control (SL I thru SL 4).
· Battle Staff Operations (skill level 3 and above).
- Instructor/Writer
- Blue Force Tracking systems
Experience and Education:
The candidate will have the following certifications:
- Total Army Instructor Training Course (TAITC)
- Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC)
- Current CPR qualification
- Three plus (3+) years as Instructor/Writer/Developer in Apply the current program of instruction (POI) in each course list. The candidate will conduct the appropriate classroom training at the Soldier skill level for 15P or 15Q (SL I thru SL 4). The support must be consistent with student through-put requirements.
- Knowledge of Army units, doctrine, training and operations.
- Ability to research current technologies that will satisfy identified operational requirements.
- Extensive experience and skills with all Microsoft Office programs and Candidate must be competent in using (including creation and manipulation of documents) with MS Word, Power Point, and Excel programs office networks.
Salary Information: Competitive Salary based on experience with excellent benefits. Pay range $65-$70,000 annually.
