Vipul, the format for proposing a talk is already published on wiki of ALiAS’ GitHub repository[1]. Kindly create an issue and suggest an edit for the same if you wish to make any changes. Presence of two different formats could be misleading for the speakers. It would be encouraged to have all the necessary formats proposed there and include its link wherever desired.

Having posters created is not expected by any of the speakers. Hence, we cannot expect them to include its link.

If the speaker is a student in college, then, why not? Using canva is drag and drop really. What's the issue? Otherwise, I don't even expect the speakers to create a post anyway.
(A): Should i expect that? As in, is that what we plan to do it?
(B): To be honest, I see only the active members using mailing list anyway, so, they can design the poster. Please let me know if we should plan things otherwise.
(A): Should i expect that? As in, is that what we plan to do it?We cannot restrict anyone to use a platform just because you are comfortable using it. Even if it is the quickest possible solution for you, it may or may not be similar for others. Regardless of the speaker being a student, if the speaker is not comfortable with designing, we shall not force him or her to do so. That may also discourage the speakers from proposing an event.
(B): To be honest, I see only the active members using mailing list anyway, so, they can design the poster. Please let me know if we should plan things otherwise.Taking help from volunteers of a specific preference would only restrict our work. I would suggest, keep it open to all. Whoever wishes to contribute can pitch in for volunteering.

Having posters created is not expected by any of the speakers. Hence, we cannot expect them to include its link. Though, we can actively continue with uploading the posters to the events’ directory on GitHub[2]. This would also encourage in acknowledgement of the contribution made via the posters designed.
