Plan for Upcoming Event:
Name: CSE Essentials
Date: 25 Jan 2018, Thursday
Details:
A get-started event consisting:
1. Pravachan
2. Linux
3. Git
4. Basic Networking
5. Python, PIP, Virtualenv
6. Pravachan++

Each topic will be allotted maximum 30 mins.
Linux, git and pip would include hands on.

Suggestions are welcomed.

I think the entire purpose of putting the MoM on mailing list is that people who did not attend the meeting can understand what all was discussed and give their input on the same.
However i don't think `Pravachan`, `Linux`, `Basic Networking`, `Pravachan++` makes sense to anyone who did not attend the meeting.
I request you to elaborate the items on the list.

when posting on the list, assume that  there are others who would not have the full context.
include a link to a shared doc / wiki / etherpad ... anything.

I agree. Not a proper MoM at all. You must improve on it.

Here is a short summary of what is planned to be covered in this workshop,
1. Pravachan
- How to get started by Ajay Tripathi
2. Linux
- Why? How? And Basic linux commands viz. cd, ls, nano, apt, sudo, grep, etc.
3. Git
- VCS, push, pull, commit, upstream
4. Basic Networking
- Ports, Server-Client Arch., HTTP Status Codes, ipv4/v6
5. Python, PIP, Virtualenv
- Introduction to python virtual environments and pyPi
6. Pravachan++
- A 5-10 min talk on what should be next essential things to study such as Markdown, Basic WebD, etc.
