Is there any way to add sports activities to workouts?

I am only adding/tracking free weight; jumping motions. The hype marketing showed Boxing motions (Jabs etc) could be monitored.

Try your sports activities and report back. What type of motion are you interested in?

Amiigo automatically recognizes: Cycling, Elliptical, Walking, Running, Cardio, Jump Rope (new), Stairs.  These happen without any training.

And the activities auto-recognized are being expanded.  Dave Scott's said they'll be adding some resistance activities to auto-recognized soon

Do you work for Dave Scott? Please disclaim if you do... otherwise what's the point?

No, I'm in the beta and have been talking with Dave Scott for a long while now.  Otherwise what's the point of what?  Trying to inform people of information you don't have?  It's like you're merely intent on spewing vitriol rather than actually figuring out the devices.

As for "very well," it's entirely possible you're A) Not wearing the devices the same orientation/positioning as you did while training them and B) As someone else suggested, you could just have faulty devices.  I mentioned the warranty replacement program which you just chose to ignore and continue on your negativity streak.  Contact Dave at the email I gave you so they can check if your devices are operating properly and replace it (at no cost...).

I really don't understand what your point is here.  You're providing inaccurate information and getting defensive/negative when someone actually in the know comes along and tries to provide accurate information.

The point of you throwing out contact info etc if you don't work for the company.

Trying to inform people of information you don't have?

The info you are giving I do appreciate but is common sense and so far not helpful. This is not rocket science after all. Its HW/SW.

Those are YOUR words and its your opinion. You are entitled to it. I'm reporting the data the devices are giving (or not giving) me.

I'm VERY careful about orientation while training the activities and execution of said activities. Even going so far as using very light weight so as to keep form perfect and recognizable throughout set repetitions.

One pair is definitely defective. emailed this dave fellow and sent feedback thru the app form. Nadda. Maybe you have to be a beta tester. And while we're on the subject. Why are they shipping alpha software out to the masses? Real companies don't release alpha/beta products as true releases on release day (except Microsoft).

I mentioned the warranty replacement program which you just chose to ignore and continue on your negativity streak.

Yes. Not impressed with a non-payed beta customers' word about a vapor program.

See comment above.

I really don't understand what your point is here.

I'm just a regular guy - testing out a product that I waited a long time for (almost three years - with multiple requests for a refund after two full years waiting and nothing in hand) - in which the money could have gone to supporting my family instead of a shoddy company and its alpha wares. You get that don't you?

You're providing inaccurate information and getting defensive/negative when someone actually in the know comes along and tries to provide accurate information.

Again your opinion. You're entitled to it. My information is accurate to the best of my knowledge. Not making anything up. What's the point of that. I've received:
  1. A wristband that I didn't order (Small instead of Medium)
  2. A chargepad that is defective (doesn't charge either devices)
  3. A pair of devices that do not function if at all plus the battery in the wristband drains in 24 hours.
So, aben I definitely do not mind your feedback here in this group and beta (ahem) knowledge. But please don't come here and tell me I'm spewing "vitriol etc" and not trying to figure out the devices. You don't know me. Don't claim that you do. You can leave corrective posts when you have experienced difference. But if continue to start any more of this nonsense here you'll be banned. Got it. Back up your You're providing inaccurate information with evidence as to why you feel it is.That is helpful to me.

I haven't even got the the biostat data. As far as my experience with the product is so far. It's random and likely inaccurate.

Please adhere to being as helpful as I know you can be and I will do the same.
