I'm amazed that there is NO USEFUL INFORMATION on a product that was announced two years ago. Only hype reviews exist showing the prototype that failed to be manufactured. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. No way to contact the makers of this product and absolutely no indication of a future for it... quite frankly I'm amazed (the amazement ends here) I received them both at all.

I've had the Amiigo Fitness Bracelet for seven (7) days now and have been wearing/using it 24/7. It came in ghetto packaging with the USB charging pad (no pluggable power supply) and micro usb cable wrapped in bubble wrap and the bracelet itself and shoe clip were not in a bag. That's it, no paperwork, nothing else.

My partner received hers two months ago - before me - a medium lime green bracelet that performs very poorly and is smaller than the blue medium sized bracelet I received 9 weeks later . We ordered the exact same size item as our wrists are the exact same size. To add insult to injury, the band is now tearing at the connectors (two posts that you push thru soft rubber holes to secure the device on your wrist) after hardly any use.

This device REQUIRES a bluetooth connection to your phone and must be ten feet away from you at all times to record any data. They claim that the bracelet can store data for hours without this connection but I have found this to be completely false. The data is queued before syncing to their servers (where are these servers located? What are they doing with my data? How do I back it up or print out a hard copy? Nobody knows. Nobody's saying) and this queuing/syncing process can taken up to a half hour or more before the results where available in the app on my phone. Real time it is not. With 4 exercises tracked it took 25 minutes before I could view the data at the end of my workout.

On initial setup - you are asked which arm you'll wear the bracelet - I chose the left arm. For the shoe clip I chose the right foot. Once set up you have no way to "go back" and change to another side (I should have setup the shoe clip on the left side, same as the wristband). When adding an activity (it only comes preprogrammed with Outdoor Cycling & Swimming. You have to "train" it to "learn" movements like Bench Presses etc. It can take multiple attempts for the exercise to register. If it registers it at all. I trained Bench Presses and Seated Dumbbell Presses (took several attempts) only to be told by the app pick one of the two as "they were too similar" to track together for the workout. Lame. Re-trained both. Same result. Retrained again. Same result.

As a pedometer - it is most accurate when used with the shoe clip. Without the shoe clip I get mixed results. The gathered data for WALKING (Steps For Today) fluctuates after each sync/update. Hard to determine its accuracy. I have sat dormant (with wristband only) in a chair (watching tv) for a half hour; not moving the phone; moving the arm with the wristband only to scratch head; pick nose etc; resynced and it reported that I walked seventy six steps?!

SLEEPING: The band comes off very easily. Just catching it on the blankets when rolling over or spooning your loved one is all it takes to get undone. Stats are now useless if it isn't attached.

As for the WORKOUT section. I trained 5 activities: Crunches (4 sets of 25 Reps); Jump Rope (100 Reps); Bench Press (4 sets of 12,10,10,10 Reps); Bent Over 2 Dumbbell Rows (4 Sets of 10, 10, 8, 8 reps); Seated Dumbbell Press. It said the Bench Press and Seated Dumbbell Press were too similar and could only record one so I went with the Bench press. 4 out of 5. Here's how the amiigo recorded them wearing both amiigos:

Crunches: 1st Set = 25 reps;. 2nd Set = 24 reps; 3rd Set = 18 reps; 4th Set = 19 reps
Jump Rope: 1st Set = 50 reps (missed the other 50)
Bench Press: 1st Set = 13 reps;. 2nd Set = 8 reps; 3rd Set = 8 reps; 4th Set = 10 reps
Bent Over 2 Dumbbell Rows: 1st Set = 12 reps;. 2nd Set = 11 reps; 3rd Set = 12 reps; 4th Set = 12 reps

It reported I burned 50 Calories and took 17.8 minutes to execute (does not count time in between sets. Thankfully, I use FitNotes to track my "actual" workouts.

I will have more to report once I thoroughly test out the "features sets."

A huge concern I have is what if you lose a part? With no one to contact and an unresponsive company and non existent customer service - you're dead in the water it you need replacements or extras.

Thank you for the great summary here. I am still waiting on my band. After contacting their customer service 4 times, I finally received an update that my band is being expedited. With your great write up though, I am opting for a refund. I ordered my GF an UP3 from Jawbone, and Jawbone's customer service has been unbelievably better than Amiigo. If it keeps up this way, the band will be another pipe dream for users.

Good luck to you and thank you again for the detailed summary of your experience.

Hi Chad - thank you for the kind words and well wishes. All the best to you as well.

Check back often and/or ask any questions you may have concerning this technology. I'm experiencing new things everyday, mostly not good regarding accuracy; ease of use etc. I asked for a refund many times and never once received a reply. To ANY of my emails. Even to this day. Silence.

I'm using this product mainly because I want to give it the benefit of the doubt. But after 12 days of every day usage it is proving to be a hindrance more than an effective and accurate tracking tool. For what it's worth my partners wristband has stopped tracking steps altogether. She's notified amiigo via the Feedback Form with screenshots and description of case(s) - but nothing...

The Jawbone looks like a winner.

I wonder if you have a bum unit? Agree on all the points of information and customer service are terrible or just non existent. I find my amiigo to be pretty damn impressive. There have been a couple instances of doubling up my steps for the day, but I've been using it daily since last June/July. I walk the dog the same 3.7 mike walk every day the sun is out and it is consistent with steps. I have 18 different exercises "taught". Once I figured out which weight lifting exercises were too similar and split triceps/bicep and shoulder press/bench on different days, this has been a great little device. The rep counts at the gym are usually within 1-2 reps of being correct. I have the original band and have not snagged it or had it fall off of my hands yet. After 30 to 60 minute work outs, it is synced and done before I get to my car on the far side of the parking lot. I haven't really tested battery time, I usually just charge it while I'm showering until I walk out the door. I'm really curious to see the web interface that amiigo referenced in their last update.

JANUARY 19, 2015

Maybe, maybe not. I bought two in 2012 and one is definitely bad. Not impressed at all with the product.

Sent amiigo plenty of emails (that dave fella too) with screenshots and test cases but NOTHING. The one that does appear to work is nothing more than a pedometer: can't accurately track workout activities/reps to save its live. One of the charge pads never charges 3/4 of the time (again no response from amiigo) - so we have basically one charge pad for two devices but my gal has given up on her "flaky company wont respond or replace" unit.

I requested a refund a received it the other day. Money went directly to Jawbone UP3. That is on backorder for 6-8 weeks, but I feel it will be worth it after dealing with Amiigo for so long. Good luck to you with the Amiigo!

BT connection ALWAYS stays on - no matter if you de-select it. It is therefore always on for me (kills phone battery quickly,)

Huh?  That makes no sense.  If you're saying your Bluetooth is always on even if you deselect it, that's something to do with your own individual phone and not systemic...

What people are saying about the Amiigo Fitness Bracelet...

01/25/15
Needs work The app still needs some work. You cant really see your progress or your past workouts, it doesn't save your data anywhere like a website like fitbit does and you can only see your weekly totals. Also, when I train or do, a workout the shoeclip constantly disconnects and a workout that takes 15 minutes takes 20 to 25. It has a long way to go. To be honest you're better off going with fitbit or a similar product until amiigo gets there product in order.

01/19/15
Want to love it but it is annoying! I received my Amiigo 6 days ago. I want to give it a fair shake but there are a lot of issues. The package shipped with no instructions and the sensor came out during shipping. The wireless charging works but you need to slowly lower the unit(s) while looking for the blue light to come on, if you just place it and go you will not get a charge, not a good solution. Does it matter which direction the sensor is placed in the band? I got 1 night of sleep data then 3 consecutive nights of no data recorded. I have one workout that was acknowledged as an error and you are working on it. I also have one workout that is just spinning from 5 days ago. Does this hurt the battery of my phone and/or the wrist band. A band with a clasp like a watch is a must and should be FREE, if you put on a long sleeve shirt you may as well just bend over 9 out of 10 times as the band WILL fall off. What is the wrist bone you mention to be positioned above, the wrist contains eight bones. Add a picture in the set up guide showing the sensor orientation, if it matters. Add a shot on a model's wrist where the band should be worn! The push for BPM on demand is gone, that one was important, please add it back in

01/19/15
Not living up to promises I was an early backer and received my band and shoe clip in July 2014 after waiting almost 20 months. I've stopped wearing it. It is a waste of space on my wrist. The band will not charge past 59%, I have to tell it via the phone app when I am sleeping and when I wake up; when I train and when I stop. The company does not respond to emails (but I suspect they are overwhelmed and understaffed.) The website shows a different app than is currently offered here. I wish them luck for the future.

01/18/15
I really wanted to like this After waiting for almost 2 years for this band to show up, it finally arrives in an envelope with no instructions or anything. As other people stated, there is pretty much no communication from the company. I really wanted to like it, but the band is just not comfortable and the features do not seem to work as advertised. I hope that with future versions, they improve on it. This release of it is very poor, especially when so many of us waited so long for it.

01/16/15
I had high hopes - WRONG!!!!!! Received my first Amiigo bracelet and shoe pod about six months ago. Wore it daily, worked like a charm, great tracking, love the exercise tracking, sleep tracking accurate, heart rate accurate, etc. Then all of a sudden both stopped working. Emailed the company and they said return for replacement - no problem. Months went by and nothing. Repeated emails and nothing. Finally in December they replied and shipped out a new bracelet and shoe pod. New design bracelet - cool! Not so cool - neither bracelet or shoe pod will stay paired with my phone and the software. I've unpaired, uninstalled, rebooted - NOTHING. Very frustrating. USELESS!!!!!!! AND DEFINITELY NOT MY FITNESS FRIEND!!!!!

01/14/15
Don't believe the hype received my band a few months back, looks like I might of been one of the first. Anyway, after using the app and the devices for over a month now I've given up on it. The reasons are numerous, from the band being uncomfortable through to the app never seeming to synch my new exercises when I train it to do so. The strength of this service was supposed to be in its automation but unfortunately this doesn't happen. Every time I run or cycle I have to tell it I'm doing so. It's the same for sleep tracking so I often either forget to start tracking things or forget to stop, meaning that the results just aren't that accurate. When this is coupled with the overly long wait and the lack of communication it just ads up to a big disappointment. Despite all this I truly believe that Amiigo will have a role to play in the future of peripheral devices but right now, this ones purely a learning curve.

01/13/15
Meh. 2nd time I used the shoe clip during exercise, it fell off somewhere. Since then, the app cannot sync to the Amiigo but says it can't find the wrist device. Uninstalled/reinstalled to try to get it working again. The website describes more app features than the Android app actually has available. Their description of what the device and app will track sounds great. The current product does not meet that description. Hopefully the app will still work reasonably despite the missing the shoe clip.

01/03/15
Amiigo app is garbage I don't get it. For a device that can track your workout it doesn't offer any workout on the menu except for cycling and swimming. You mean to tell me that you guys trained the amiigo on those 2 but not something simple as a bench press or a curl. These device are for putting on and forget. I really don't want to go on my phone everything I need to track a exercise. It should already know the movements. I shouldn't have to train my device so I can train my body. What happen to wear and forget?

01/03/15
needs improvement While the app looks good it needs more functionality. Starting with being able to display current data. It's nice to see a daily summary and weekly trend however that doesn't help me "in the moment". Actively having basic exercises already learned would be a major plus. I'm going to have to waste a gym day to have it learn the most common exercises I do in a week. There should also be a FAQ/Guide to explain the significance of the different biometrics.

12/19/14
If amiigo is my friend, I'd hate to meet my enemiies... Like so many others who've commented I was promised my amiigo months ago. Michele A. said it would ship immediately over two months ago and then would not return emails when it never arrived. Finally she emailed and said it would ship out over a week ago (no apologies or explanations). I never got a tracking number or another email. I've tweeted, facebooked, emailed, etc. I was an original indiegogo backer, and their utter disregard for their backers and lack of updates and communication is a lesson on how to alienate customers. I doubt the amiigo will be any good based on the quality of the company's service, but I may never have the chance to actually try it out. I can't believe I fell for the hype :(

12/16/14
Go with a trustworthy company and forego a few features you don't need After being promised a device in July, August, September, November and no later than early December, I decided to cancel my preorder (7+ months in waiting). I understand the pitfalls of a startup company, but the remedy to all those issues -- good communication. Which Amiigo does not have, anymore. Initially, I'd get feedback about each delay very quickly -- now, that is not the case. When I made the decision to cancel (12/5), I emailed the company and used their contact us, in the email I asked if they were going to be able to fulfill my order by 'early December' and if not to cancel my order. Michele A. contacted me (12/8) and asked for my name (even though I had provided it in my email), which I replied within 5 minutes. Never did I receive a response to that email again. After waiting a few days, on 12/11 I demanded a cancellation of my order. Michele A emails me within 3 minutes and cancelled my order with no indication of refund. I replied (and cc'd ord...@amiigo.co from this point forward) and inquired. Hours later, I was asked for my PayPal address (even though I paid with a card). I gave it to them and expected to see a notification. Nothing for days.

12/15/14
Don't trust this company Ordered and paid for 2 amiigos 7 months ago. There was delay after delay for the shipping date. The final one was to be sent out end of November, for users to receive first week of December. This hasn't happened either. Been trying to contact amiigo for the past 2 weeks for a refund and there is no response... Very unprofessional and ripping people off. I'll update this review if I see any response from Amiigo soon

12/07/14
Latest update shows more info, still useless, but a tiny bit less so. No idea what any of the bio graphs mean. No way to pull historical info, Or poll for current. New trending graphs are a step in the right direction, still way too basic, and only goes back one month.

12/07/14
Poor This is a startup and understand things can take time. But the communication from the company is horrible. Like others I've been waiting a long time, which I can understand from a startup. But the lack of communication and updates is appalling considering they have taken our money.

12/06/14
Still no device Despite multiple promises I have never received the device I paid for. This company can not be trusted.

12/06/14
Regret installing 12/6/14 update Can no longer check HR on demand. Cannot track anything unless shoe clip is with you, not even walking...where do i put a shoe clip when swimming??? A bit angry and full of regret with this latest update! Please fix asap Amiigo, please!!!

12/06/14
12/06 update removes heartrate monitor? sure, it "errored" 66% of the time I tried to do it, and didn't seem to trigger on it's own while I exercised, but now that the button appears to of been removed, I'm wondering what the plan is... of course the update didn't include anything in the "what's new" section at least as of 12/06

11/30/14
Zero customer support. Beware. I'm a backer and finally received my device weeks ago. The wrist band doesn't work. I've emailed more than once. Dave even talked to me in FB and I re-emailed immediately. Still nothing. I'll revisit this review if I ever hear from them. Very disappointed.

11/30/14
Product has lots of shortcomings Absolutely horrible battery life with lollipop for Moto X (2014). Was previously lucky to get 16 hours on with 2 hours screen time. Deleted the app and now getting 30 hours on time with 3 hours screen time. Band occasionally burns through all the battery. No real time workout data. Would definitely return product if I could even get through to customer support.

11/18/14
Worst company ever I never take my time to do a review on anything before but this time I have to. This review is not about the product because I never receive. It's mostly about the company they took my money and never send me anything

11/15/14
Using for 1 month If braslet is not in sync with phone for more than 2h you will probably loose your data. Also braslet can stop working for some reason and you will need to reset in from app (and loose all data). Not very accurate step counter when wearing only braslet, it counts 15-25% less steps than professional step counter. App has some decent functional. You need internet connection to start workout mode or measure heart rate. Very disappointed.

11/06/14
Where is the update that was promised last month? Yet again, Scott and company over promise and under deliver.

11/05/14
Bullshit

09/23/14
Very much a Beta Heart rate detection only works when I sleep. I don't know how they will measure heart rate during exercise with such need for stillness. Missing features highlighted in Indiegogo campaign. I can only hope it gets worked out as the band is very comfortable to wear.

09/23/14
Inaccurate and puzzling I'm starting a workout and I select walking/running and after it analysis the workout it detects cycling :-( Why is it a requirement to have both pieces when starting a workout and how do you track something like a yoga workout? Analyzing a workout takes such a long time even when using one of the fastest devices in the market.

09/21/14
Scam The company bailed with a bunch of people's money. They removed the contact form from the orders' pages, haven't published any updates in a month and a half, and do not respond top customer emails... This makes the app worthless, since you can't get the required device.

09/18/14
Val P Just got my device yesterday. I went for a bike ride this morning and tapped the bike ride option in workouts. it opened a screen saying "creating workout" with little loading bars. two hours later it is still on the same screen. I am frustrated. I was super excited to use it and track my bike ride, but it is not working at all.

09/13/14
Disappointed I have to be honest, I backed through Indiegogo thinking that this would be a cutting edge product, unfortunately as a standalone it is no better than any other fitness tracker, but combined with the app and its lack of integration with myfitnesspal or any other app is incredibly disappointing. The device was touted as being an exercise tracker with heart rate monitor, problem is that it only tracks resting heart rate, how do you imagine you can get accurate calorie counts without knowing this?

08/28/14
As much about the app as it is the device Wearing both wristband, shoe clip, or both, Amiigo routinely reports 6,000 to 12,000 steps less then my Fitbit One. My walk to work is slightly over 1 mile, but the Amiigo says I walk 1,200 steps in a full day of walking to work, taking a mid day walk after lunch (0.5 miles), and waking home.

08/27/14
Inconsistent at best. For a device that has supposedly been in production for a year and a half with an accompanying app that has been available to download for about four months, the bugs I've encountered in two days of use are unacceptable. There's been a great amount of frustration between production delays, lack of communication, and shipping date changes. For those of us who remained patient and finally received our devices, I would have expected a smoother experience. The app is hit or miss, mostly miss. For every exercise I successfully add without issue, there are five exercises that "can't be added at this time" or get caught in a perpetual sync cycle ultimately met with a "failed to upload" error. I suppose if you take the time to add every possible exercise you could preform at the gym beforehand, it would minimize the issue. However, if you're adding exercises on the fly as you preform them, this is beyond frustrating. When a fitness tracker interrupts your workout, you have a problem. These are glaring issues that need to be fixed and soon. Amiigo isn't the only product on the market, and most are readily available without prolonged delays.

08/27/14
If this is a large wristband. . . It seems to me the wristband runs on the small side. And the band has a slight flaw on the out side of it by where the gray meets the black. I too was disappointed to see non backers get theirs before I did. Wristband charges to 67% and lasts less than one day. Not liking this at all.

08/27/14
Can't rate with no device! The device was promised in July and is the end of August and still haven't received it. The payment went through on time though

08/14/14
Absolute joke Where is my device? I backed amiigo on Indiegogo Jan 2013 havent received a thing. saw a review below a non-backer received his device already? Ridiculous. Had it with Amiigo. Send it, don't send it. Dont care anymore.

05/20/14
Needs a bit of work Seems to have a lot of connectivity issues. Only been able to get heart rate to work once (out of about 20 tries). Sleep always give error. Still don't understand the workout system. Why do I need three activities for a workout? Looking forward to an update with more workouts and better user interface.

05/14/14
No product I will change my rating when or if this company ever delivers the product I paid for and was promised a year ago. So far all I can say is that the app creators are inexperienced and untrustworthy.

So I just received mine after a nearly 3 year wait (i was an early bird backer). And wow do I wish I could roll back time and skip this dud.
So I guess it works, but like other users have said the band unbuckles super easy so sleep tracking isnt going to work for me (maybe I am just to restless in my sleep lol).
Other than that the fact that there is 0 activity lights (should have thought about this more as this was made clear up front) does suck. At least other displayless devices have some led action or vibrations. The shoe clip tracker I thought was going to be sweet (but didnt know you have to have both for the thing to track) so that right there is a killer for me as well as switching that back in forth sucks, and on my one shoe I have to tape it in place or it falls off.

So far my experience with their customer service has been a nightmare as well.

Anyways if you have bought one save your money.

Hi all here's another update (bringing us up to date) on the Amiigo from the Google Play Store:

I really want to love this application They have a great idea but I'm really not happy with delivery. Getting the physical device dragged very long with continual broken promises. Using it, I have experienced repeated problems with data not uploading, not knowing the charge level of my battery and add of this morning, crashing the app. I really hope I can update my review in the not too distant future with better news.

A scam They took Indiegogo campaign money and either blew it away or ran away with it.

Fulfills none of promised fynctions Like many other reviewers, I am wholly dissatisfied with this product, despite its many promises during its crowdfunding phase. It will not automatically sync with any of my exercises, and the ergonomics of the band itself leave much to be desired. The shoe clip falls off too far too readily. Also, while the instructions state that the shoe clip, obviously, is not needed with the app during swimming, the band will not sync if the clip is not present! A prime example of unfulfilled sales hype.

Useless without the shoe clip. You can't start a workout without a shoe clip and now the app isn't properly analyzing sleep data. It's literally nothing but a pedometer now.

05/01/15
Bad app Loaded with bugs. Didn't deliver on what was promised. Likely a failed project before it started. Stay away from this company.

Don't even use it anymore The app still needs alot of work. You cant really see your progress or your past workouts, it doesn't save your data anywhere like a website like fitbit does and you can only see your weekly totals. Also, when I train or do a workout the shoeclip constantly disconnects and a workout that takes 15 minutes takes 20 to 25. It has a long way to go. To be honest you're better off going with fitbit or a similar product until amiigo gets there product in order.

Does not work The app does not work properly with my phone which is a Zopo C2 Premium, it will connect once to the amiigos, but as soon as I do something to else in the app or leave it I cannot connect to the amiigo unless I delete them and rescan losing any data the amiigos might have collected, have sent bug reports then the feedback page in the app, and still haven't heard anything back from amiigo, on the amiigo forum there is somebody with the galaxy edge and they also have the same problem as me

04/17/15
Very disappointed The band won't stay attached, falls off and apart. I have no idea what the software is really doing.

Do Your Research I would highly recommend checking BBB before purchasing this item. I ordered this item May of last year and still have not received it. Don't be fooled by an app. Do your research first

04/16/15
Does not work! Data may be bogus but not interpretable form. Not congruent with polar loop data. Has yet to record a full run! DISAPPONTING!

04/15/15
Connection This app works about 1 time out of a hundred. Either it can't connect to servers or it won't connect to the band. Hate it.

04/15/15
Not what I expected Not what I expected at all... Sleep takes forever to "analyze".. Can't get my biometrics, although thought it could read my heart rate at any time ... Gonna use at the gym today, let's see what it does...

This company sucks Zero communication. Poor customer service, and took a year to receive a product that is already out dated. Don't buy an amiigo, they'll be out of business before they can make updates to the product or a second version.

03/18/15
Hopes were too high App looks very nice, however it lacks some simple but important things like listing out and comparing same type activities, like filtering only swimming workouts and compare the progress in long term. What's the point in having history of only 1 month?

03/01/15
I've stopped using the device. Like others are saying, it's not as automatic as it needs to be; I end up telling it just about everything it's supposed to "know". The app is supposed to track skin temp, O2 levels, etc., but I've yet to get a reading other than heart rate. Not sure if the app isn't updated with that yet or if I've got a defective device. Anyone seeing the full list of biometrics yet?

02/22/15
Don't waste your money I never leave descriptions. But after waiting 2+ years and false promises I expected something at least mediocre. Sadly this device & app don't come close. All the other terrible reviews of this are pretty accurate so I won't reiterate what's already been said. Everything from the lack of packaging to the pointless app leaves me in regret. Don't waste your money.

app is horrible.... company is no better having launched several startups, i understand the growing pains but their lack of communication is appalling. there are some serious design flaws as well. most notably, the need to have a shoe clip present when swimming..... that is beyond stupid. if i select a swim workout, i shouldn't have to have a shoe clip present in order to continue, but remarkably i do. idiotic....... moreover, my device has not worked for months due to battery issues (will not fully charge). still hoping for a replacement.

Update: training and recognition are terrible. Doesnt even track stairs on its own. Battery life is abyssmal. Band won't stay on. Maybe it will get better with updates, but right now is not worth it. After waiting more than 1.5 years after expected delivery, I finally got my device. Haven't had the chance to train it yet, hopefully tomorrow. The metrics seem pretty good, but the device came off when I slept, and doesn't seem to want to stay fastened. I predict it will be lost soon...

02/12/15
Defective product, never shipped one of the bands, never received refund! Update: I was told to send them the one (of two) devices I actually received, which wasn't working well, so I could get a refund. I have neither received a refund nor do I have either device and it's been over 3 months since this started! You can't keep our money if you haven't even given us a product! TOTAL SCAM Previous: Absolutely horrible battery life with lollipop for Moto X (2014). Was previously lucky to get 16 hours on with 2 hours screen time. Deleted the app and now getting 30 hours on time with 3 hours screen time. Band occasionally burns through all the battery. No real time workout data. Would definitely return product if I could even get through to customer

02/05/15
Pretty, but a bit dodgey Love the app visually, but the processing and syncing data via the server is glitchy and slow. Some times it doesn't return at all. Could use immediate mode heart rate and needs more explanation of some of the other stats.

I found this site from the amiigo sub reddit site. There are about 5% "good" reviews about this product on google play and they are from people that haven't used the product fully at all. So, copying only the negative reviews (they are the majority) makes sense. What doesn't make sense is you calling someone sleazy for calling a companies' crappy products out.

Here's an example of a latest review on google about the update:

Awesome update....not So the update 21st May broke authentication. Reset password sends mail with a link that's dead. Great work guys. This on top of the fact that it doesn't do as advertised. I bought to track steps and heart rate through the day. Steps works. Heart rate is only during sleep and then only an average. I've stopped wearing the bracelet after about 5 days and only use the shoe tag now since the bracelet adds nothing useful.

Do not buy an Amiigo!  Buy mine!  My wife and I purchased these on kickstarter after our Jawbone Up bands became too unreliable (replaced 4x/ea in one year under warranty).  We waited over a year for ours to arrive, only to be disappointed in how easy they pop off your wrist, how you need to start/stop sleep and activity modes from your smartphone, and worthless heart rate tracking.  I wore mine for 3 days.  Hers was never worn.  So if anyone wants to give an amiigo a try, I will be happy to give you a 2 for 1 deal.
