Bluetooth: Always On?

After 20+ days of using the amiigo my Nexus 4 bluetooth I could not turn off. Bluetooth kept turning on when turning off. This had not happened until I installed the amiigo app on my Nexus 4.  

1. The amiigo app was not running in the background.
   
2. I restarted the phone

But within a few seconds bluetooth was back on again. This has a negative effect on the phones battery life when not using the amiigo app. 

The solution for me was to clear the Bluetooth Share | Cache

Another weird anomaly I am experiencing is that the amiigo app said Bluetooth was disabled when the OS indicated it was ON (See screenshot: BT_Disabled_But_On.png). I'll see if the cache clearing resolves this issue in due time,
