My sister Autumn Cutting works for The Nature Connection in Boston, bringing the natural world to people who have challenges getting out in it themselves.  She is facilitating an online nature journaling workshop starting next week, and I've signed up to join!  It will help me get in the practice of documenting observations in preparation for the online course in permaculture design that we have decided I should take starting in June.

You can join us!  There is still room for more participants to register for the online journaling group -- see the link below.  If you can't afford the list price, email them for more options.  Spending time in nature is great way to get connected with the amazing Creation we live in and our generous and loving Creator!  (The group is not religious, though.)

Bendiciones,
Sister Confianza

Friends,

I am leading another Mindful Nature Journaling zoom series this spring! You are invited to join me, and/or spread the word to others who may be interested.

This program will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 4-5pm (Eastern Daylight Time) for 6 consecutive weeks, April 2nd-May 7th, on zoom.

No matter what's happening in the world, nature is constantly growing and changing! Keeping a seasonal nature journal offers a way to practice your nature-noticing skills and allow the earth to remind you of the resiliency of life.

Eventbrite - The Nature Connection presents Earthnotes: Mindful Nature Journaling Online Workshop Series - Wednesday, April 2, 2025 - Find event and ticket information.
Sign up now! 20% discount through Thurs, March 27th to celebrate the start of spring!
Other discounts are available - if needed, please contact us for a promo code.
Join The Nature Connection this spring to learn some techniques for keeping a journal to track nature's changes throughout the season. Our goal is to help you experience the sense of wellbeing that can come through deepening your relationship with nature by providing the space and structure to engage with the natural world around you. We’ll be exploring and observing how the plant and animal life change with the season through creativity, imagination, and documentation.
You will be given guidance and support in creating your own nature log (paper or digital). Your journal can be in whatever format you want (photography/video, writing, drawing/painting, or spoken word).
What to expect: this is not a webinar or lecture series, but rather a participatory group that involves sharing with and learning from each other. Our program time will be primarily conversational as we take turns sharing observations and questions that have come up for us during the week. We will also be introduced to a new mindfulness/journaling technique every week and have a chance to practice it during the program.

All the best,

Autumn Cutting
