We are looking forward to welcoming Lise (pronounced Lisa) next Friday for a one-month sojourn from April 17 - May 17!  She has provided the following introduction:

“Hermana (Sister) Lise lives in Massachusetts with Hermana Confianza’s sister, Autumn, and five other people in a Quaker-based co-op. She is about to retire from active ministry as an Episcopal priest, where she has mostly done short-term and interim work. She looks forward to spending time with the Amigas del Señor as a time to combine retreat, spiritual formation, improving her Spanish, living simply, learning about permaculture, meeting people in rural Honduras and experiencing life there. She has met the sisters several times through Zoom, and is excited about meeting them in person! Lise has adult twin daughters, 2 sons-in-law, a grandchild and a granddog. She enjoys practicing taekwondo, playing cello in a pops orchestra, knitting, and showing up and speaking up for justice."

Please hold us all in prayer that we might have a beneficial and spiritually deepening time together.
