When Annette's Canadian visa application was rejected, we had to find another path forward for her to join us in Honduras.  Janice, the travel agent who is helping Annette in Jamaica, learned that while Panama doesn't issue visas through their consulate, you can get one by hiring a lawyer in Panama. She got the names of a couple of lawyers and sent them on to us.  I called them up, and we are now working with Erick Shcks to facilitate Annette's travel through Panama.  Conveniently, flights from Jamaica to Honduras have a layover in that country.  For some reason, the Honduran Embassy in Panama requires more documents than Canada did, so Annette had to get them all together.  Last week she got them translated to Spanish.

We have sent photos of all the documents and translations to the lawyer and paid him to go to the Honduran Embassy to ensure that everything is in order.  If it is, then we will have him obtain the Panama visa and set up her appointment for her Honduran visa.  She will have to spend a few days in Panama to receive the Honduran visa before flying on to Honduras.

Please hold this process in your prayers, that all might go smoothly.  We are hopeful and terribly eager for Annette to join us soon.  It was a year ago in February that she first contacted us about joining Amigas del Señor Monastery!

Bendiciones,
Sister Confianza
