Notes from Sister Confianza:
-In July, we definitively fired William after he trespassed at night for the third time, so our agroforestry expenses went down dramatically. Consequently, many of our crops have suffered. Even so, we still brought in some agroforestry income from the sale of papayas and pineapples (our first significant crop of pineapples here in town).
-I still occasionally contract William to bring us manure and other materials for the permaculture project, but he no longer works within the precincts.
-Household costs included Lorany's housework as well as metal mesh for several windows to keep out mice and rats that have been a big nuisance this year.
-I made steps towards getting my name changed in Honduras, collecting the necessary documents. (We will have to pay a lawyer $630 to make it happen, and would welcome sponsorship for that expense.)
-The construction of the new adobe motherhouse is ever closer to being finished. Besides paying the builder, who is working on it part-time, we bought some hardware to install the windows and doors as well as screen material for the windows.
-We purchased family planning for the public health clinics in July and paid for motorcycle maintenance in August, all under Alms.
-We had unusually high sales of chicken feed in September, increasing chicken income sisignificantly.
-We are ever grateful for your donations that keep our work going. Instructions for various ways to donate are found below.
Bendiciones,
Sister Confianza
