Hey Gang

Welcome to Amherst+Tech!  What's Amherst+Tech?  A loose affiliation of Amherst area techies, creatives, and entrepreneurs who love to build things, including community.  Basically just occasional events and a listserve to share local stuff going on that interests folks like us in Amherst.  All sponsored by the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce.

Our first gig?  We're tossing a "Jelly" next Tuesday 5/21 at the Sungage offices on Main Street.

What's a Jelly, you say?  It's a work event where we get out of our single offices and work-at-home holes to get together and work in a shared space for a day.  Nice to gather every once in a while with other techies, creatives, and entrepreneurs in a fun, creative, welcoming environment.  The Jelly concept was created by Amherst College grad Amit Gupta (http://workatjelly.com).
