Hi,

The online documentation does not have any steps to test AMF on
windows platform. Can you please send me the steps.

Thanks
Pavan

Hi Idel,

Thanks for quick response.

I would definitely contribute in making the documentation for AMF on Windows. Just you can let me know what steps I need to follow up. I can complete this activity and share with everyone.

Thanks
Pavan

Hi Idel,

I am trying to install AMF in Windows now.. I am getting this error.. Please help me out. Below line are from the command prompt.

C:\Users\asundipa>cd C:\xampp\perl\bin

C:\xampp\perl\bin>perl C:\NewCO\mobileApp\Apache2-ApacheMobileFilter-3.51\Makefile.PL

Apache Mobile Filter (id...@idelfuschini.it)

To try quickly the AMF add on httpd.conf this few rows:

PerlSetEnv AMFMobileHome /home/AMF
PerlSetEnv WURFLNetDownload true
PerlSetEnv CacheDirectoryStore /tmp
PerlTransHandler +Apache2::AMFWURFLFilter

Note:
Download Cache::Memcached library if you want use memcached (http://memcached.org)
Download Cache::Cache library if you want use filesystem for caching
In this moment AMFDeviceMonitor is only for filesystem cache

LoadFile "C:/xampp/perl/bin/perl510.dll"
LoadModule perl_module modules/mod_perl.so

<IfModule perl_module>
PerlSetEnv AMFMobileHome c:/home/AMF
PerlSetEnv WURFLNetDownload true
PerlSetEnv CacheDirectoryStore /tmp

# ASP settings
Include "conf/extra/httpd-perl-asp.conf"

Please let me know any configurations I missed.

Hi Pava,
I have checked the code and you put the wrong url for download your device repository.
Sorry for delay but last two week I was very busy.
