stereo_gui cannot choose samll clips to run stereo?

I want to run stereo in samll clips to test weather the stereo_gui can run successful.

So my command :  stereo_gui left.map.cub right.map.cub -s stereo.map testgui/output

The first problem I encountered on the terminal is : 

Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file

However this does not influence the display with two images,and then I choose the samll clips on both of them to clik the run button to the stereo , the problem is ''Must have just one image in each window to be able to select regions for stereo.'' which really confused me.I want to konw weather the first problem lead to this? And then how to run the program of stereo_gui? 

I'm really sorry for this stupid problem , I'm very new for this software.

What you see is a bug. I think I fixed in the meantime. I hope you can try the latest build from here (https://github.com/NeoGeographyToolkit/StereoPipeline/releases) and see if it works for you.

It it still does not work, I hope you can run the command "stereo --version" and tell me what it prints out.
