I have used the pc_align tool to align the file run-DEM.tif with the reference DEM DEM-COP.tif, generating the transformation file run-align-transform.txt. My question is: Is it possible to directly apply this transformation matrix to the file run-DRG.tif to align it to the same reference system without the need for additional adjustment processes, such as Bundle Adjustment?

It is not possible to simply move a DRG image because this one is projected, so it is distorted where there are hills, valleys, etc. Need to go back to the original image, move that one, and project that one again. Now it will get distorted again, but in different places.
