I had been trying to apply pc_align using the nuth method in ASP but I am getting this frequent error of (ERROR: pick_random_subset: The specified output length is bigger than the input length.)

The command I used is: pc_align COP_WOG.tif 2018_WOG.tif --datum WGS_1984 --alignment-method nuth --max-displacement 5000 --compute-translation-only -o ALIGNMENT/A1 --num-iterations 50.

Kindly help me address the issue.

I put a fix for the particular error you are seeing with "output length". The fix is in build 2025-09-07 at https://github.com/NeoGeographyToolkit/StereoPipeline/releases

I could not reproduce the pc_align problem, so I am not sure what the effect will be.

It is suggested you examine how far your two input clouds are vertically and horizontally, and then try several values for --max-displacement. This should be somewhat larger than the horizontal + vertical amount you think the clouds differ by.
