Hello!

I'm trying to run the command isisimport from = tmc/ch2_tmc_ndn_20250209T1759497019_d_oth_d18.xml to = tmc/img1.cub template = ISIS3-dev/isis/appdata/import/PDS4/Chandrayaan2TMC2.tpl

I'm facing the error: Unable to create a cube label from [ISIS3-dev/isis/appdata/import/PDS4/Chandrayaan2TMC2.tpl]. [inja.exception.render_error] (at 109:34) variable 'Product_Observational.Observation_Area.Mission_Area.isda_Product_Parameters.isda_pixel_resolution._text' not found

If this is a file missing error, can you help me understand where to find this file?
else, if this is another issue, please help me solve

You can file a bug report at https://github.com/DOI-USGS/ISIS3/issues. The suggested fix would be to have the field it is complaining about be optional in the code, as that is not a requirement for this tool to succeed.

What you can do on your side, as a stop-gap solution, is to edit your xml file and add there a fake variable with a fake value to have it stop failing. A good value for the pixel resolution for TMC is about 5 meters/pixel. When you edit this file, you can just duplicate a line or block that looks similar enough and makes some changes. The words in Product_Observational.Observation_Area.Mission_Area.isda_Product_Parameters.isda_pixel_resolution are likely nested xml tags and there should be analogous ones there.

I did this modification in the xml file. There isn't a not found error now as it is able to read that field. However the error now is IO error: it cannot read file [the given xml file]. Position [0]. Byte count [17992].

How to fix this?

This was held up as spam, apparently. I filed a bug report for this: https://github.com/DOI-USGS/ISIS3/issues/5882
