Today I learned:
- Emails are not a safe space
- The recipient of said emails has all the power (...to screw you)
- Never curse in an email, no matter how well you know the person or how hard you think it would make them laugh (...you never know what mood they will be in when they receive it/how maliciously evil they are feeling that day...)
- Never underestimate that jaw-to-the-floor-%&$*#(&^-sinking-feeling you get when you realize that said email- to normally fun-loving person- has been "replied" to with a lovely cc to Susanne Callaghan and supervisor (...because they really needed to be included in the response...NOT!)

That's a lot to learn in a day! I'm so sorry this happened to you.  What'd Suzanne say??? 

Today I had my first ever positive interaction with Virna, only to be followed up with an 8pm call from Nikki telling me that Virna wants me to go to this IT health conference in Poughkeepsie tomorrow at 7:30am. And Nikki's going to be there all day!!! Fuck! (Is this a safe space to use cuss words?).  On the bright side...counting down my hrs steadily. Knocking out 120 with last week and this week. I'm gettin outta here ASAP.

I have not gotten any backlash yet...but y'all will know who it's about if we get a lecture on Email Etiquette at the next Friday training :)

-Lianne, thank you for noticing, I was pretty proud of that one- and yes they are!!

Melissa and Alia, you both were expected to go at such short notice?! That's insane! Did either of you actually make it?

Everybody have extra fun for me on Sunday, I will be hiking and dog sitting upstate. And, if anyone wants to share some of those hours...pick me!!!
