Yesterday I learned:
1) a day at an IT conference is just what you'd expect
a. Misleading titles to make the subject matter appear more interesting.
b. A competitive streak exists between Dr. Calman and Virna Little, specifically concerning total number of speeding tickets in the last month, and total dollars spent on said speeding violations.
c. Narcissistic doctors taking an hour and a half of everyone's time, not talking about the presentation topic, but instead discussing what makes them more worthy of conversation.
2) Your house isn't a safe place. It does however provide the illusion of safety, until the illusion is broken...or should I say, broken into??? If, when I see you this weekend there are black garbage-bags under my eyes, it's because I haven't slept in days.
A day full of learning!
