DO IT!!! I took SO much time off last year (and finished on time) and have mini vacations scheduled repeatedly for this spring.... You just need to get it cleared in advance. But does your supervisor take vacation? Probs. They should understand that everyone needs vacation.

yes, PLEASE take time off. That is totally okay. Technically you dont need to tell anyone why you are taking time off, just that it's personal time. Don't worry about it! I know we all do great stuff, but really we're just extra workers, the IFH world will keep spinning without us.
