When Sultan's Santana made that comeback show, I was there. I am glad
I had the opportunity to see him in person. He impressed me as having
great charisma, that 'look at me' show horse attitude we all like to
see, as well as good conformation and motion.
I recall him as a rather compact-bodied horse, that got his hind legs
welll up underneath himself, not trailing behind as we sometimes see
nowadays. (I have a hunch some of that 'trailing behind' stuff we are
seeing now is actually due to shoeing, IMO, and would be curious to
know if anyone else has any ideas on that...sorry to be throwing in
another topic, but that is the stream of conscioiusness way my mind
works sometimes, LOL.)
