Happy Monday, all! Thank you to all who e-mailed me your HW. I enjoyed seeing and reading the things you understand and like about American Culture. It gives me a better idea of what you know, what you like, and what I can help you understand in class. =)

Two things:

1) I realized that I didn't have the chance to send you my PPT presentations from our first two classes. They are attached to this e-mail without all the fancy pictures because they make the file too big. If you have trouble downloading the PPT, you can come to class with your USB to collect them.

2) Also, I realized that I haven't asked the class monitors to collect money for copies yet. Last week, the copies came to about 1,500 dong, and this week, it is about 500 dong. If each student could bring 2,000 dong to class, I would be very very grateful because I'll be able to eat this week. =)

I'll also inform you over e-mail on Mondays how much I would like for copies per week. I will try to minimize copying to save money and save trees!

See you this week! I can't wait to hear your debate ideas about the immigration issue!

Take care,
 Giang
