Hi Team!

American Whitewater has updated the code behind our river pages. The update allows paddlers to create a table of saved reaches by using the heart icon above the beta box on any river page, and the table can be viewed under the "Account" button in the header of any page. Saved reaches are mirrored on our apps as well. The update also makes the site vastly easier to work on for our dynamic team of volunteers (onboarding is much easier), and more sustainable and resilient. Importantly, the code behind the old river pages has not been supported for some time, and replacement was necessary.

Trip Report creation will be under construction for 1-3 weeks as we replace the photo infrastructure and hook up our new-ish gauge service to trip reports. During this timeframe you can add trip reports, but only photos up to 4mb and photo functionality may be more limited, and gauge selection will not be available. When this work is complete these limitations will go away, and a new "My Photos" option will be added. Apologies for the inconvenience as we continue to improve our site.

This work is volunteer driven. Props to all of our volunteers, those behind the code and those behind the beta.

Totally understand (from the above post) that Trip Report creation is under construction, so perhaps this has already been noticed and is in the works to be remedied, but ...
I noticed that trip reports which are slightly more lengthy (more than four lines) get truncated, and there does not seem to be a way of seeing the remainder of the report.
(Clicking anywhere on the report does not open the full report.)

Where are you seeing this Rob?

I just put up a Trip Report that is 5 paragraphs and see the full report: <https://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/view/river-detail/4348/flow>. The issue I have is no paragraph breaks appear unless you add HTML break or paragraph tags.

I am looking at the last few on the Recent Trip Reports page and don't see any that are obviously truncated.
