I came across something with the new app that has me a bit perplexed. I love that (when I pull up a specific river/section) it features a photo prominently (when photos are available), however ...
1) When no photos are available, it seems odd to take up half the initial screen just to display a gray box saying "No photos available". (Not a huge deal, but just odd.)
2) When exactly one photo is available, it seems slightly odd that it still lets me scroll right (just to see the same photo, grayed out) and has an oval that I can tap to see "All photos", when I've already seen the only photo available!) It only becomes less weird when one realizes that (by clicking the oval, to see "all" the photos) when you click on a/the photo there, you actually get to see the description!
Ok, those are very minor quibbles. What is far odder is that (when there are many photos), when I have clicked the "All photos" oval, and all photos are displayed ... they randomly periodically swap positions on the screen! This makes it awkward to just sequentially pull each one up for viewing (since they move, and one has to keep track of what they've viewed and what they haven't). (Please don't tell me this was intentional! It's annoying!)

On my android, the photo gallery seems to work. Just very slow to load full versions of the photos.
