Subject: Glass Bead Research Opportunity at Corning Museum of Glass

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to share with you information about a new research opportunity at the Corning Museum of Glass, specifically working with historic glass beads in our collection from southeast Asia and from west Africa. This could be structured as a focused summer or semester project for an advanced Ph.D. student or recent graduate, particularly in anthropology, history, archaeology, or other form of material culture study; or as supplemental work over a more extended period. There is no citizenship requirement, and work may be conducted remotely although some residency time in Corning will be necessary.
