Amelia Island Main Beach Ride Report, March 28, 2026

Whoosh!  What a blow.  The Weather Channel saw this coming and told us we would be under a "wind advisory," starting at 9:00am.  Sure enough, here it came.  A "lucky 13" NFBC registered cyclists braved the gusts and showed up at Main Beach to go for an abbreviated bike ride.

There's always something else happening, and today was no exception, as 127 runners were finishing up the "third annual" FCA 5K.  Read all about it:

Thanks go out to Jim H for assuming the role of co-ride leader, as Don T and I dodged the gusts and headed elsewhere.  Thanks also to those brave souls who came out to ride with us today.
