For the Saturday Ride November 15 Ride Report – Lost dog gets home

Around 10:30 I turned north on N. 14^th near Leon and spotted a big dog wandering near the roadway.  The Rottweiler was in distress and trying to find her way home.  As I approached, she barked and snarled.  After about 10 minutes Donna P and Jerry Y were riding by and stopped to help.  Donna, the dog whisperer, took a few minutes to calm the pup and get a look at the tag.  I called the owner who nonchalantly said “Oh yes, she wanders.”  The owner collected Frankie and headed home to Calle Corte.  Every bike ride is different.

 

Also seen today was Doug working the MUMC Fall Festival.  Lots of families were having a good time.
