All,
We had 8 riders gather at SuperCorsa for the weekly Friday Special. Again, we had nearly perfect riding weather. Temps in the low 70s, low humidity, sunny skies, and mild winds out of the southwest (nice tailwind coming back). Safety brief completed; we
headed south. Drew informed us that the ridge created by the machine that milled the rumble strips had been removed and the bike shoulder had been swept. Some rode on the road. I turned into Big Talbot and rode the trail to Ft. George Inlet and our turnaround.
RichW and JohnG were enjoying the sun and scenery. Soon, TedI, ToddL, and PeterB headed up from under the bridge and the group headed north. I tarried a bit longerto enjoy the view. No mechanicals or flats to report. Everyone made it back safely.
We met at V's at 2PM for the weekly Brain Trust. Quite a large group to wish JoeyP a happy birthday. We had cake (thanks to Teddy Bear) and good company. Special appearances from SteveJ and DanL (he's STILL here!...who loves ya' Dan-O?).
All and all a great day on our little cycling paradise.
