Everyone is back in town and the forecast was for perfect weather to ride the islands.  24 folks showed up to take advantage.  Hope you can find yourself in the start photos.  We had our safety brief and highlighted some of the great information that I had absorbed at the Team Leader meeting a week ago - eg some of the most common causes of an incident ( which means a rider hit the ground) was overlapped wheels and following too close,  a group ride means we should always have a buddy, and that a safety brief, helmets, working breaks, etc are all part of what we tell the NFBC insurance provider that we do.  The ride started on time and off we went flowing into our usual groups.  The weather did not disappoint.  When was the last time you went both south and north without a headwind that was a drag?  The temperature was not too hot, not too warm, but just right.  Enjoy while it lasts.  There was a good gathering at the ferry pavilion (my photo was a fog) and a fun looking group was taking the ferry to lunch.  Yeah!  I did not hear of any mechanicals or flats that.  Keep riding safe and look forward to the next ride.

Thanks, Doug, for the most excellent ride report, and for motivating this COVID victim to get well, and get back on my bike...with friends!!!

Miss y'all.
