On this last day of November, 15 of us enjoyed the last of the morning sunshine and warm weather riding the Amelia Island Trail. After the safety briefing, 4 of us headed to the ocean to ride the beach to Burney Park. It was so nice out and we all so enjoyed
our first stop and Burney Park, we all had to make an effort to continue our ride. See the attached pictures. This is the weather that we have been waiting for.
We welcomed Cindy B back riding today, as she has been gone a while. Both Bob and Pat K were out walking today, and Pat stopped by at the start to say hello to us all. I saw Bob K and talked to him earlier while out riding to the start.
It was nice to see more folks on the Crady Bridge fishing again. As we looked to the northwest, we could see the dark clouds of our afternoon storm headed our way. The dangerous birds were there again. Fortunately, a fence protected us from them. We had
plenty of time to complete our ride before the bad weather.
for more information and what to bring. It appears that the rides start from the same place as the picnic, Ribault Club Picnic Area. If would be great to ride there if one can figure out how to carry a pot of hot chili and a camp chair on their bike ...
hmmm ...perhaps not.
That's all. Hope to see you all nest Wednesday.
