9 brave and daring souls accepted the challenge presented by the gusty winds to improve their character. Depending on the website, it gusted up to 36 mph. How could I cancel the ride when Kathleen F registered before I could cancel it? At least it was mostly sunny and completely dry. There was extra debris in the bike lanes. Everyone showed off their excellent bike handling skills. No flats or mechanicals to report.

Donna and I are traveling back from Maryland. I haven't noticed whether anyone has volunteered to lead tomorrow's Friday Special. I won't be riding as Donna and I plan to attend Don Eipert's wife Elena's service at Bosque Bella Cemetery at 11am.

It's just a thought but maybe we should cancel tomorrow's ride for Don.
