Tomorrow's Amelia Island Main Beach ride will be "led" by Amy Kahn and/or a designated co-ride leader, departing at 9:00 AM from Main Beach, located at South Fletcher Ave. (A1A) and Atlantic Ave., near the Recreation Center and the entrance to Fort Clinch State Park. We usually park east of the Skateboard Park.  The standard routes are 30-35 miles, but this uniquely designed ride allows riders to cut off loops along the way to reduce the overall distance, if desired.

Doggie's for Dollars is moved to next week!

Online registration with NFBC is required for members and non-members who intend to ride with a group of cyclists on tomorrow's Amelia Island Main Beach ride.  Go to NFBC.us and follow the "prompts."

Bicycle helmets are mandatory, as is a bicycle in good working condition. Safe cycling is an absolute must, and safety rules will be emphasized before the start of each ride. As always, cyclists are required to obey all traffic laws.

THIS RIDE COUNTS FOR NFBC CLUB MILEAGE

See you tomorrow,
Amy K

Dear Amelia Island Cycling Friends,

I wanted to share some exciting news from today's ride. We had a fantastic turnout with a total of about 30 riders!

Our friends from the Camden Bike Club even traveled south to join us for the day. It was great to have them riding with us.

What a great day to ride. The weather was perfect with very little wind and not too hot or too cold! The main beach parking lot was packed with "Spring Breaker" enjoying the island. WHen I got back to the car, there was a line of cars waiting for my spot!

No mechanicals that I know about, and everyone seemed to have a enjoyable ride. We sure Susan & Don T and hope they are enjoying their time in Gatamaila.

Until next time,
Amy
