Friends of Fernandina Aviation (FoFA) Annual Fundraiser on April 11th, 2026

Hello Cycling Companions,

I am the vice president of Friends of Fernandina Aviation (FoFA) a local non-profit who raises money to award scholarships to local Nassau County students. 

We have our big annual fundraising event coming up - Wings & Wheels & WHY? - an airplane and car show at the FB airport on April 11. Some of the highlights are an incredible silent auction, raffles of items, food trucks, live band, and more.  Great family fun.  We plan to fill up the tarmac with about 175 iconic cars and about a dozen aircraft- we’ll even have a helicopter this year!

If you cannot attend this event, please consider sponsoring our fundraising effort, as 100% of the funds raised go toward those scholarships for aviation-based STEM programs.  This is our “WHY?” - your generosity will positively impact the imagination of our future leaders and help them Think BIG | Dream BIG!  Please let me know if this is possible, and at what level your heart feels is right.

FoFA also sponsors a high school Aerospace Club that meets the first Wednesday of every month at the Fernandina Beach High School, and we are always looking for guest speakers to talk about their successful careers in an aviation related field.
