to Cycling 'Don Eipert' via Amelia Island
Had 12 riders, not including Donna P. who crossed paths with us on the route several times. It was brought to our attention that this was the 81th anniversary of D-Day and Don T was sporting his D-Day jersey should we forget. Not as hot or humid as in the recent past, but there was a bit of wind from the South.
Alan and Annie joined us from ME as they were back for a brief visit to check on things.
Most did their own thing, but 4 of us did meet at the Dog Park before heading back to the start.
Jerry Y. said he picked up a coat hanger, but no damage and he deposited in the trash at the Fort. Alan got a flat relatively close to home, but limped in and switched bikes to complete the ride. Other than that I’m not aware of any issues.
