Wednesday Social Ride

Had 6 of us today with a certain Gene tagging along as well. Other than some ponds on the ride down to HT the trail was in pretty good shape and the heat wasn’t as bad as previous days. No incid

Had 6 riders plus Gene K. tagging along (unable to register). Other than the ponds between the Parkway and HT the trail was in reasonable shape. I found stuff on the sides and above as much to watch out for as stuff on the actual trail. On the return trip traffic is typically greater and the roundabouts continue to be areas to really pay attention as the crosswalk rule isn’t always followed. However, we all returned in our pre-existing condition so a successful outing.

Hopefully I beat the Thursday ride report so things are in order.  Had 7 on the ride with one bailing about an hour before ride time.  Coming out of Burney we had to navigate around some workmen parked on the trail, but other than some vines that crowd or hang low the trail was in good shape.  Would remind all to be careful crossing near the roundabouts as it seems the vehicles there are less courteous of bikers.
