7-30 Main Beach Ride

I had a great time leading the Saturday Main Beach Ride! We had 23 riders show up at Main Beach! We had one guest rider today visiting from Atlanta, Rod D. Turns out, Rod and I used to ride together on Tuesday when I lived in ATL.... good to see you Rod.

After the safety briefing we rolled on out! I did get a report that we ALMOST had an accident today. Please, please remember to slow down if there is a S/C rider in front of you and please pass on the left. We have mentioned this before, we also need to slow down in Fort Clinch due to all the traffic on the weekends! As always, ride smart and ride safe!!

It was in the 90's today and felt like 104 degrees..... WOW! Even with the heat, it was wonderful to see everyone and get out there and explore the Island!

It was good to see you again, Amy, and to ride with the group after a two-year hiatus. I am attaching a picture of you that was taken at the MLK Day Ride in Atlanta on Jan. 18, 2021. The temps were, um, just a bit different from what we experienced yesterday's ride. (It always seems that the MLK Day Ride in Atlanta always falls on the coldest day of the year!)
