Amelia Island Main Beach Ride Report, June 27, 2026

All of our Saturday morning bike rides are special, but today's was especially so, as we gathered in the shade at Main Beach for a tribute to our friend, Steve Josephs. We welcomed Liz, who joined us for Amy's, Linda's and Sallie's reminders of how much we love riding with each other, and that Steve may be gone, but never forgotten--by any of us.

We had 16 NFBC registered riders, plus several who forgot or weren't able to register, and some who showed up late, but still ready for a fun ride into the heat!  And hot it was!

Thanks again to all who turned out to ride with us today--especially to co-ride leader Mike L, who later reported no mishaps or mayhem, just hot summertime down here in Florida.
