Joe's Friday Special - Report 5/29

Great weather for 9 riders, you can see their smiling faces in the pic, heading south from Super Corsa. Some took the road while others opted for the Talbot trail. We stopped at Fort George bridge for out mid-ride break. Lots of birds at Spoonbill pond today. On Tuesday I kayaked Simpson Creek, which crosses the path of this ride, and it was loaded with all kinds of birds. Saw Skimmers flying with the tip of their beaks in the water hunting for food. With a nod to Jack, I am including an unrelated picture. In the evening over Memorial Day weekend these two guys were going to set up torches and other stuff on the beach where their buddy was going to do a surprise proposal of marriage. Great ride report, Rich!  Look at all the egrets, herons (white phase little blues?) & wood storks on the pond--and the good-looking cyclists.  Sweet note about the marriage proposal, too.

Sorry I missed another fun ride.  Hope to see y'all tomorrow.
