It was a great day to ride the islands.  We had 21 registered riders! After a brief safety briefing that we focused on keeping your head up to see the scenery but also the hazards we got started right on time.  I felt a little like the guy that starts the Indy 500 as everyone wizzed by.  Some of us took the shorter route in prep for some longer rides ahead.  Some went out to the ferry pavilion for a turnaround.  Some went longer.  Everyone got back safely - well done.  We did have a flat or two, the south bridge is debris laden.  I will update if I need a sub ride leader for the 25th.  Till then enjoy the weather.
