We had a good ride today.  No incidents of any kind and an upbeat group who seemed happy to be riding here on Amelia Island.  There were 10 of us today

I have only one photo and it was taken at the Dog Park.  Amy joined us there, but missed the photo op.  (Mike S forgot to remind me to take a picture at the start and at the Fort, so blame Mike for the dearth of photos!)

Hello Fellow Cyclists,

 

Tomorrow looks to be another good day weatherwise for a ride.  There’s less than a 25% chance of rain all day.  If there is a change in the weather, I’ll send an email by 7:45am letting you know.

 

Otherwise, I look forward to seeing some, if not many, of you at the parking lot by the marina at 8:50am in preparation for a 9am start.

 

If you’re riding, please feel free to remind me to take a picture at the start.

Hello Fellow Cyclists,

 

We had an enthusiastic group of 7 riders today.  The weather was the same as usual, warm and humid, but very ridable.  I did remember with some prompting to take a few photos (see attached).  Cheryl has one photo to contribute, if she chooses to do so.  

 

We did have a flat tire around Mile 28 – Michelle encountered a sharp object that cut through her tire.  With Phillip’s agile hands at work, we were back on the road after about 10-15 minutes.  Other than Michelle’s flat, there were no mechanicals or falls.  I think the group is exercising more caution due to the many mishaps that have occurred over the last 4-5 months.
