The Howling Winds of Labor Day

AKA, The Howling Winds of Yuleeland. So much howling that even Susan Taylor could hear on the island. We had 7 lucky cyclists enjoying the howls. I can't recall the last time I was out in such a wind, At times we enjoyed bright sunshine and at other times I felt like the rain clouds were trying to find us.

I had to look twice to notice a cyclist in Goffinsville Park that was doing zero pedaling. As got closer, I noticed that is was a gasoline powered engine on the rear wheel. Where is that from? Where is the gasoline tank?

Did you notice a couple of weeks ago in the News Leader about the Hendricks Road additions?

The article stated it was expanding to Old Nassauvile Road where it already ends now. The map which made no sense also shows it expanding and cutting into Amelia Concourse. Any ideas what this is about?

At the far end of Amelia Walk it is just short distance to Hendricks Road if one could get there through the brush. It is a long way out of Amelia Walk and down Amelia Concourse to find Hendricks again. Only way out of North Hampton or Amelia Walk is through the main entrance by the light as one enters with no back way out.
